Coach Elijah Rodriquez comes to West Coast Elite after serving 5 years as a program director for the Silicon Valley Soldiers, a chapter of Nike EYBL program Oakland Soldiers. After spending 2 years at Valley Christian HS, where he was the youngest head coach in the Western Catholic Athletic League, he’s ready to take on a new challenge as the Varsity Coach at Kathleen MacDonald HS in San Jose. Coach Elijah received a B.S. in business management from San Jose State University. Elijah will serve as the West Coast Elite Silicon Valley Director.
Elijah had this to say about joining West Coast Elite, “I’m excited about the new opportunity and continuing to serve the community doing what I love. Basketball is a great way for young people to learn discipline, leadership, and how to work as a team. West Coast Elite has helped hundreds of student-athletes receive scholarships for college. They’ve set the example for any program looking to be successful at a high level. I can’t wait to be a part of that culture. I’m excited to work with all families on this new endeavor.”
